Job summary

Corporate Tools is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Dallas, TX. The role is remote for now with flexible office options, working ~40 hours per week and offering strong benefits. You will design and implement high-traffic systems, modernize monoliths, and set technical standards across teams.

You should have 6+ years of full-stack development, experience with Rails/Rack, and strong JavaScript skills. You will mentor junior engineers and collaborate with stakeholders to ship impactful

Qualifications

• 6+ years full stack application development
• 4+ years backend with Rails or similar frameworks
• 4+ years frontend with modern frameworks (Vue/React/Angular)
• Experience mentoring junior to mid-level engineers

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, document, and maintain front and back end systems for high-traffic applications
• Help peel off monolith code into well-organized architecture
• Drive technical standards for the team
• Design and implement novel systems from scratch (billing to ideas)
• Provide feedback on junior/mid-level engineers' work
• Monitor/ensure automated processes run as expected
• Communicate with stakeholders about releases
• Mentor others as directed
