Job summary

Nucleus Security is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Platform with a passion for security analytics and scalable data platforms. You will own data-driven features end-to-end, from prototyping to production delivery, and help evolve the platform for scalable ingestion and processing.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams across time zones, write tests in a TDD approach, and troubleshoot production issues to ensure reliability and performance.

Qualifications

• Must have strong background in data analytics, data science or data warehousing.
• Proficient in SQL with performance optimization and complex query design.
• Proficient in PHP for data processing tasks.
• Experience with test-driven development and unit/integration testing.
• Strong technical troubleshooting and problem solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and with teams across time zones.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end lifecycle of data-driven analytic features from prototype to production.
• Design and evolve the security analytics platform for scalable data ingestion and processing.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and data teams to translate requirements into robust solutions.
• Diagnose, triage, and resolve production issues to ensure reliability and continuous improvement.
