Job summary

Nucleus Security is seeking a Mid‑Career Software Engineer to join a rapidly expanding cybersecurity platform team. You will own data‑driven analytic features from prototype to production, helping build a scalable analytics platform for vulnerability management.

The role requires strong SQL, PHP data processing skills, and a track record with tests and troubleshooting. Remote collaboration across time zones is common, with a focus on data quality and reliability.

Qualifications

• Background in data analytics, data science, and/or data warehousing.
• Familiar with SQL, including performance optimization and complex query design.
• Proficiency in PHP or similar language for data processing.
• Experience in a test‑driven environment and writing unit and integration tests.
• Proven ability in technical troubleshooting.
• Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively with teams across different time zones.

Responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end lifecycle of data driven analytic features—from prototyping and experimentation to production deployment and customer delivery.
• Build and evolve our security analytics platform to enable scalable data ingestion and post ingestion processing.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and data teams to translate ambiguous requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Diagnose, triage, and resolve production issues quickly, ensuring reliability and continuous improvement of deployed systems.
