Job summary

Nucleus is seeking a Mid-Career Software Engineer to join our platform team. You will own end-to-end data analytics feature lifecycles, from prototyping to production delivery, helping to advance our vulnerability management platform.

Collaborate across engineering, product, and data teams to translate ambiguous requirements into robust technical solutions. You will diagnose issues and ensure reliability across time zones in a fully remote setting.

Qualifications

• Background in data analytics, data science, and/or data warehousing.
• Familiar in SQL, including performance optimization and complex query design.
• Proficiency in PHP or similar language for data processing.
• Experience working in a test-driven environment and writing unit and integration tests.
• Proven ability in technical troubleshooting.
• Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively with teams across different time zones.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end lifecycle of data driven analytic features—from prototyping to production deployment and customer delivery.
• Build, and evolve our security analytics platform to enable scalable data ingestion and post ingestion processing.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and data teams to translate ambiguous requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Diagnose, triage, and resolve production issues quickly, ensuring reliability and continuous improvement of deployed systems.
