Job summary

Raft is seeking a Senior Engineer with an active Top Secret/SCI clearance to automate and orchestrate critical infrastructure. Based in San Diego, CA, you will deploy, manage, and optimize system infrastructures using modern automation and container orchestration technologies for national-security projects.

Responsibilities include packaging releases, managing SBOMs, vulnerability tracking, and ensuring secure artifact provenance.

Qualifications

• Active TS security clearance
• Eligible for SCI access
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field with 10 years of experience or Master’s with 5 years, or 15 years of experience in lieu of degree
• Experience infrastructure automation IaC tools (Ansible/Puppet/Terraform)
• Experience supporting Kubernetes-based environments and containerized apps
• Strong documentation and technical writing skills

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain enterprise platform releases
• Assemble release artifacts: Ansible, Kubernetes, Helm, containers, RPMs, SBOMs
• Manage versioning, dependencies, SBOMs, and release manifests
• Maintain configuration baselines and traceability
• Coordinate vulnerability scanning and POA&Ms
• Ensure artifact origin from trusted repos and security validation
• Create release docs: READMEs, Release Notes, SBOMs, procedures
• Develop automated release workflows with GitLab CI/CD
• Coordinate release promotions across environments
• Support CM and RMF authorization with artifacts
