Job summary

Raft seeks a Senior Engineer with active Top Secret/SCI clearance to automate and orchestrate critical infrastructure. Based in San Diego, you’ll manage release artifacts, container security, and deployment pipelines across environments, ensuring reproducible, auditable releases.

You will work with Ansible, Puppet, Terraform, Kubernetes, Helm, and CI/CD tooling, supporting RMF authorization and continuous monitoring as part of a mission-focused team.

Qualifications

• Requires Top Secret security clearance and SCI eligibility.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher with extensive relevant experience.
• Experience with infrastructure automation tools (Ansible, Puppet, Terraform).
• Experience supporting Kubernetes-based environments and containerized apps.
• Experience with Git-based workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong CM, release engineering, SBOMs, and version control understanding.
• Experience in Linux enterprise environments and technical writing.

Responsibilities

• Develop, package, validate, and maintain versioned enterprise platform releases.
• Manage release artifacts: Ansible, Kubernetes deployments, Helm charts, container images, RPMs, SBOMs.
• Track versioning, dependencies, inventories, SBOMs, and release manifests.
• Maintain configuration baselines; ensure versioned, auditable, reproducible components.
• Validate release artifacts for completeness and deployment readiness.
• Coordinate vulnerability scanning of containers and OS packages.
• Document Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms) for vulnerabilities.
• Ensure artifacts come from trusted repos and pass security validation.
• Create and maintain release docs: README, Release Notes, SBOMs, install/upgrade procedures.
• Develop release workflows using GitLab CI/CD and DevSecOps tooling.
• Coordinate release promotions across environments; support CM activities.
• Collaborate with Platform Eng, Cybersecurity, Dev, and Ops teams for secure deployments.
• Support RMF authorization and continuous monitoring with artifacts.
