Job summary

Storm2 is seeking a Platform Engineer to own and scale cloud infrastructure across AWS, enabling large-scale AI workloads and accelerating the growth of a rapidly expanding engineering org.

You will work beside product engineers and leadership to build internal platforms, raise developer velocity with tooling and self-service infra, and establish reliability and observability as the company scales.

Qualifications

• 5+ years owning production infrastructure at scale.
• Experience in a startup/scale-up or hyper-growth environment.
• Strong expertise across infrastructure, databases, networking, observability, SRE, or CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Own and scale cloud infrastructure across AWS.
• Build platforms capable of supporting large-scale AI workloads.
• Improve developer velocity through tooling, automation, and self-service infrastructure.
• Design observability systems that surface issues before customers feel them.
• Build highly reliable distributed systems that can support rapid growth.
• Define platform standards, best practices, and engineering foundations as the team scales.
• Drive reliability, incident management, and continuous platform improvement.
