Ritten is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to own the reliability, infrastructure, and developer experience for our healthcare platform. You will work at the intersection of backend systems and cloud infrastructure, building primitives that accelerate feature development and maturing observability and alerting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building backend systems or cloud infra.
• Hands-on IaC and cloud resource management experience (GCP preferred).
• Proficient in Golang, PostgreSQL, or GCP infra.
• Comfort operating across application and infrastructure layers.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Scale backend systems across Golang, PostgreSQL, and Google Cloud.
• Own and evolve infrastructure-as-code footprint: cloud resource management, environment provisioning, deployment pipelines.
• Solve performance bottlenecks in data-heavy healthcare environment (low-latency APIs, background jobs, indexing).
• Advance observability and alerting maturity, including SLO adoption and on-call tooling.
• Define platform-level patterns (auth, caching, CI/CD, deployment strategies).
• Collaborate with senior engineers and CTO on technical direction.
