Job summary

Ritten is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to own the reliability, infrastructure, and developer experience that our platform runs on. You’ll operate at the intersection of backend systems and cloud infrastructure to build platform primitives that make feature development safer and faster as our customer base grows.

This role emphasizes observability, deployment pipelines, and close collaboration with product engineers and the CTO to shape technical direction.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building backend systems and/or cloud infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code and cloud resource management (GCP preferred).
• Depth in at least one of: Golang, PostgreSQL, or GCP infrastructure.
• Comfortable operating across both application and infrastructure layers.
• Pragmatic problem-solver with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and scale backend systems across Golang, PostgreSQL, and Google Cloud.
• Own and evolve our infrastructure-as-code footprint — cloud resource management, environment provisioning, and deployment pipelines.
• Solve performance bottlenecks in a complex, data-heavy healthcare environment (low-latency APIs, background job orchestration, indexing strategies).
• Drive observability and alerting maturity — including SLO adoption, on-call tooling, and building toward proactive outage detection across GCP.
• Establish and improve platform-level patterns (auth, caching, CI/CD, deployment strategies) that the broader engineering team builds on.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and the CTO on technical direction.

We've expanded from core clinical software into a full platform that powers every workflow in a clinic — from scheduling andpatient treatment to billing and revenue operations. What You'll Do

What We’re Looking For

• Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code and cloud resource management (GCPpreferred).
• Depth in at least one of: Golang, PostgreSQL, or GCP infrastructure.
• Comfortable operating across both application and infrastructure layers.
• Pragmatic problem-solver with strong communication skills.
