Flatiron Health, Inc. in New York is seeking a Senior Director of Engineering, Technical Platform to lead global developer platform and AI infrastructure. You will guide teams across four pillars to accelerate oncology software development and operational excellence on a hybrid work model.

You will partner with the CTO to define platform strategy, ensure reliability and cost governance, and enable enterprise AI adoption while growing engineering leadership across distributed teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of engineering leadership experience.
• Experience with large-scale data processing pipelines.
• Cloud infrastructure and platform strategy expertise.
• Hands-on or strategic AI/ML developer workflows experience.
• Proven ability to lead multi-pillar engineering organizations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and consolidate our global Developer Platform and AI infrastructure capabilities.
• Define end-to-end platform vision, roadmaps, and metrics with Product Management partners.
• Provide technical depth for high-availability infrastructure across data processing and SaaS integrations.
• Deliver exceptional internal IT services and empower developers with robust tooling.
• Evaluate and scale AI tooling, governance, and cost controls for production workloads.
• Build and manage a high-performing engineering leadership tier across platform and IT teams.
