Qualifications

• Seasoned Python engineer with backend focus.
• Experience shipping AI-native tooling in production.
• Strong observability, metrics, and incident response.
• Shaped API design for scalable, internet-facing services.

Responsibilities

• Expand DevDawg and Spice for scalable developer tooling.
• Build paved roads for the API layer with consistent REST/GraphQL patterns.
• Modernize the backend framework with Flask/FastAPI migrations.
• Own production readiness, including telemetry and alerting.
• Ship shared backend services and data-migration guardrails.
• Set guardrails for coding agents to ensure safe merges.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure (AWS, Kubernetes) and application layers.
