Job summary

Rezilient Health seeks a Senior Platform Engineer to own reliability, scalability, and performance of our care-delivery platform. You will design, operate, and automate infrastructure, observability, and security to keep services fast, resilient, and PHI-safe.

Partnering with cross-functional teams, you will drive CI/CD, SRE practices, and incident response while balancing speed and safety in a healthcare context.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent hands-on experience in computer science or related field.
• 5+ years in Site Reliability, DevOps, or infrastructure roles in startups or growth-stage orgs, healthcare preferred.
• Proven production experience on major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) including compute, networking, storage, and managed DB services.

Responsibilities

• Design, provision, and maintain cloud infrastructure using IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation, or equivalent).
• Own and evolve CI/CD pipelines to enable safe, frequent deployments with testing gates and controlled rollouts.
• Build and operate observability across the stack: metrics, logging, tracing, dashboards, and alerting; define SLOs/SLIs.
• Lead incident response: on-call, triage, mitigation, blameless postmortems, and systemic fixes.
• Automate operational toil via scripting and tooling to improve mean time to detection/recovery.
• Design for scalability and resilience: capacity planning, autoscaling, redundancy, and DR/RPO targets.
• Manage container workloads and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) including networking and service discovery.
• Collaborate with Security to harden infrastructure: secrets, encryption, vulnerability scanning, and PHI handling.
• Work with development teams to embed reliability and operability from design through production.
