Job summary

Rezilient seeks a Senior Platform Engineer to own reliability and performance of CloudClinic infrastructure. You will design scalable cloud systems, automate toil away, and lead incident response while collaborating with Security and Eng teams to protect PHI.

You will build and operate CI/CD pipelines, observability, and scale systems across development, staging, and production environments, ensuring fast, safe deployments with HIPAA-aligned practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent hands-on experience.
• 5+ years in Site Reliability, DevOps, or infrastructure roles in healthcare or regulated industries.
• Experience operating production systems on AWS/GCP/Azure.
• Strong Infrastructure as Code experience (Terraform or equivalent).
• Production experience with Docker and Kubernetes, including deployment and troubleshooting.
• Expertise building CI/CD pipelines and release automation.
• Experience with observability tooling and defining SLOs/SLIs/error budgets.
• Strong scripting (Python/Go/Bash) and cloud CLI skills.
• Incident response leadership and postmortems.
• Knowledge of PHI/HIPAA security considerations.

Responsibilities

• Design, provision, and maintain cloud infrastructure using IaC.
• Own and evolve CI/CD pipelines with automated testing gates and canary rollouts.
• Build and operate observability with metrics, logging, tracing, dashboards, and alerting.
• Lead incident response with on-call participation and blameless postmortems.
• Automate operational toil through scripting and tooling.
• Design for scalability with capacity planning and disaster recovery planning.
• Manage containerized workloads and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Collaborate with Security to harden infrastructure and handle PHI securely.
• Work with development teams to embed reliability in services from design to production.
