Job summary

Endor Labs seeks an experienced Platform/Infrastructure Engineer to own MongoDB Day 0 and Day 2 operations, and to design scalable data infrastructure. You’ll implement sharding strategies, ensure high availability, and broaden telemetry across the stack.

You will work with Kubernetes and CNCF tools like ArgoCD, manage Terraform/OpenTofu modules, and build cloud infrastructure on Azure and Google Cloud to process billions of events daily.

Qualifications

• 4+ years operating MongoDB (Atlas included) in production.
• 5+ years of Site Reliability or Platform Engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production environments.
• Experience with at least one major cloud provider (Azure, GCP, or AWS).
• Infrastructure as Code using Terraform/OpenTofu.
• Observability with Prometheus and Grafana, designing SLIs/SLOs.

Responsibilities

• Own MongoDB Day 0 and Day 2 operations and data infrastructure provisioning.
• Design and execute scaling strategies for large datasets and clusters.
• Instrument the stack with telemetry, logging, and tracing across MongoDB and BigQuery.
• Build, deploy, and operate cloud infrastructure at scale on Azure and Google Cloud.
• Work with Kubernetes, ArgoCD, and multi-tenant clusters to isolate workloads.
• Advance infrastructure as code with reusable modules and GitOps workflows.
• Collaborate with Security, Backend, and Product Eng to keep data layer aligned.
