Job summary

MongoDB is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to join the Deployments team within Platform Engineering. You will design, operate, and evolve our continuous delivery infrastructure using Argo Workflows and ArgoCD across multi-cloud Kubernetes environments.

You will own onboarding flows for new products, collaborate with cross-functional teams to standardize service onboarding, and provide support for deployment systems while participating in a 24/7 on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software development and operating distributed systems.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, or a similar language.
• Experience building and operating large-scale CI/CD pipelines.
• Expertise with Kubernetes-based containerization.
• Cloud experience: AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Understanding of Linux internals and networking concepts.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to developing a world-class continuous deployment experience for MongoDB products.
• Own the onboarding flow for launching new products or services.
• Collaborate with Platform Engineering teams for consistent onboarding experiences.
• Provide internal support for deployment systems and resolve issues.
• Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation.
