Quantum World Technologies Inc. is seeking a hands-on Kubernetes-focused engineer to lead the administration, upgrades and production troubleshooting of enterprise Kubernetes environments, including OpenShift/Rancher.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Kubernetes administration, upgrades, operations and production troubleshooting.
• Experience with enterprise Kubernetes platforms (OpenShift/Rancher).
• Strong RHEL/Linux administration including LVM, filesystems, RAID, hardware and performance troubleshooting.
• Strong networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, load balancing, TLS/SSL, PKI, NIC bonding, LACP).
• Experience with LLDP for network discovery and tcpdump for packet-level troubleshooting.
• Storage integration with Kubernetes using CSI, Persistent Volumes, StorageClasses and dynamic provisioning (Pure Storage).
• Automation with Terraform, Ansible and IaC practices.
• Experience with Helm, Argo CD, Git/GitHub, GitOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of Docker/Podman, container images, registries, networking, storage and runtime troubleshooting.
• Monitoring/observability with Prometheus and Grafana for alerts and performance analysis.
• Ability to design and support highly available, scalable PaaS platforms for data ingestion, ETL and distributed processing.
• End-to-end troubleshooting and root-cause analysis across hardware, networking, storage, Linux, containers and applications.
• Networking fundamentals at CompTIA Network+/CCENT level for enterprise server configuration and validation.

Responsabilités

• Experience building and supporting enterprise Kubernetes platforms (OpenShift/Rancher).
• Strong RHEL/Linux administration including LVM, filesystems, RAID, server hardware, and performance troubleshooting.
• Network expertise including TCP/IP, DNS, routing, load balancing, TLS/SSL, PKI, NIC bonding, and LACP.

• Integrate Pure Storage with Kubernetes using CSI, PVs, StorageClasses and dynamic provisioning.
• Automate with Shell/Bash, Python, Ansible and Terraform (IaC).
• Work with Helm, Argo CD, Git/GitHub, GitOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency with Docker/Podman, container images, registries, networking, storage, and runtime troubleshooting.
• Use Prometheus and Grafana for monitoring, alerting and performance analysis.
• Design and support highly available, scalable PaaS platforms for mission-critical apps and large-scale data workloads.
• Perform end-to-end troubleshooting and root-cause analysis across hardware, networking, storage, Linux, containers and apps.
• Apply networking fundamentals for enterprise server configuration and validation.
