Job summary

MetLife’s Global Technology team invites you to join as Senior Platform Engineer to design, build, and operate governance solutions for citizen developer platforms. You’ll write code, automations, and data models behind the intake app, the recertification center, and DLP policy automation—scaling as the footprint grows.

You’ll partner with Platform Architects and Admins, translating policy into technical controls, and improving platform inventory, risk posture, and compliance status with live

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 5+ years of hands-on development.
• Experience shipping production apps on Microsoft Power Platform or similar low-code platform.
• Scripting and API automation with PowerShell, APIs, Microsoft Graph, or REST.
• Strong ALM practices: source control, packaging, deployment pipelines, testing.
• Working knowledge of Agile practices including backlog grooming, sprint planning, demos.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain governance solutions end to end across intake app, recertification, and compliance center.
• Automate operations using Power Platform admin APIs, PowerShell, and Microsoft Graph.
• Translate governance policy into enforceable technical controls with clear acceptance criteria.
• Own data and reporting layer for governance with Dataverse and SharePoint models, pipelines, and dashboards.
