Job summary

MetLife’s Global Technology team is seeking an Associate Engineer to support ECM solutions, automation, and modernization across enterprise platforms. You will design, implement, and troubleshoot automation with Ansible, Terraform, Linux Shell, and PowerShell, collaborating with IT partners and business teams in a global environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
• Understanding of OpenShift, Apache Web Server, and related technologies.
• Proficiency in scripting languages, including Linux Shell and/or PowerShell.
• Experience with or familiarity with infrastructure-automation tools such as Ansible and Terraform.
• Understanding of AI/ LLM.
• Knowledge of or experience with Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Implement ECM solutions in collaboration with engineering and application teams.
• Promote and apply automation to design, support, and maintain configuration management and orchestration for integration platforms using Ansible, Python, PowerShell, Azure Pipelines, and Linux shell scripting.
• Troubleshoot, investigate, recommend, implement, and maintain document-generation solutions across multiple technologies.
• Develop automation that reduces manual effort and improves the efficiency, performance, and stability of application platforms.
• Collaborate with globally distributed teams across multiple time zones.
• Learn and evaluate emerging technologies and tools, including automation and artificial intelligence, and implement solutions in collaboration with senior engineers.
