Job summary

MetLife’s Global Technology team is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to design, build, and operate governance solutions for citizen developers. You will implement policy-driven controls, automate tenant operations, and manage data and reporting layers across Dataverse and SharePoint with a focus on security and compliance.

You will collaborate with platform architects and admins, turning policy into technical controls, and guiding onshore and offshore developers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, with 5+ years of hands-on development.
• 5+ years of hands-on development experience with at least 2+ years on a low-code or SaaS platform.
• Production experience shipping apps and automations on Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse) or similar low-code platform.
• Scripting and API automation with PowerShell, Power Platform APIs, Microsoft Graph, and REST.
• Strong ALM discipline: source control, packaging, deployment pipelines, and automated testing.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate governance solutions end-to-end across intake app, recertification, and compliance center.
• Automate operations using Power Platform admin APIs, PowerShell, and Microsoft Graph.
• Translate governance policy into enforceable technical controls with clear acceptance criteria.
• Own data and reporting layer for governance including Dataverse and SharePoint models and dashboards.
• Lead solution architecture, ALM, deployment pipelines, and automated testing standards.
• Collaborate with Platform Admins to define requirements and sequence work.
