State Farm is building a modern, Kubernetes-native platform engineering team. As a Software Engineer, you will design Go-based controllers, own GitHub Enterprise integrations, and help migrate from GitLab to GitHub Enterprise Cloud at enterprise scale.

You’ll influence end-to-end developer experience and craft reconciled, declarative state across resources. This hybrid role is based in Bloomington, IL, with multiple US locations; you’ll collaborate with fellow engineers and product teams,

Qualifications

• Go language experience with real project (CLI, API service, or controller).
• Kubernetes Resource Model, CRDs, controllers, RBAC, and webhooks.
• Crossplane experience with Compositions or deep Kubernetes operator knowledge.

Responsabilités

• Design Kubernetes-native automation in Go with custom controllers.
• Own the GitHub SaaS platform and governance.
• Migrate repos and settings from GitLab to GitHub Enterprise Cloud.
• Drive platform adoption with tooling and guides for teams.
• Enable GitOps with versioned, reconciled state.
