Job summary

Félix is seeking a senior Platform Core engineer to join the Platform Core team. You will design, build, and optimize foundational microservices and infrastructure to power Félix’s financial products, while ensuring high availability and scalability.

Ideal candidates have strong distributed systems experience, fintech knowledge, and a passion for mentorship. The role offers a hybrid work model, competitive compensation, and growth opportunities in a fast-paced startup environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven track record in fintech software and payment systems is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with Hexagonal or Event-Driven architectures and feature flags.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize foundational microservices and infrastructure for Félix’s products.
• Improve platform resilience with effective monitoring, incident response, and auto-recovery strategies.
• Identify bottlenecks, improve scalability and performance for hyper-growth.
• Collaborate with product, operations, compliance, and other units to deliver holistic financial solutions.
• Mentor junior developers and promote engineering best practices across the team.
• Leverage analytics and user feedback to iterate on platform capabilities.
