Job summary

ByLabs is seeking a senior backend/platform engineer to build the Financial Cloud developer platform. You will implement CI/CD pipelines, GitOps automation, artifact management, and a dependency graph engine to enable 50-100 versioned modules to be built, tested, composed, and deployed across global sites.

You will work directly with the Platform Architect turning architecture blueprints into production systems used daily by hundreds of engineers.

Qualifications

6+ years in backend/platform/infrastructure engineering.
Proficiency in Go (preferred) or Java/Kotlin with Python scripting.
Production experience building CI/CD pipelines and tooling.
Hands-on with GitOps: ArgoCD, Flux at scale.
Experience with Kubernetes, operators, CRDs, Helm charts.
Solid understanding of container registries and artifact management.
Experience with build systems (Bazel/Gradle) and dependency analysis tools.

Responsibilities

Build module-level CI/CD pipelines from commit to versioned artifacts (Docker images + K8s manifests).
Implement build provenance automation and SLSA attestation integration.
Develop a dependency graph database for static and runtime dependencies.
Create change impact analysis tools to surface affected modules in PR reviews.
Implement GitOps deployment engine with ArgoCD/Flux and automated rollback.
Build site provisioning tooling and a version management console for upgrades.
Develop four-layer test orchestrator for scalable, tagged test execution.
