SnapLogic is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Platform team that powers all services. You’ll build resilient, scalable systems across the stack—from pipelines to data layers and operational tooling.

This hybrid role is based at our HQ in San Mateo, CA with in-office work two days per week. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of backend experience, strong Java or Python skills, and a proven track record delivering features end-to-end.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years building and operating production backend systems.
• Strong programming fundamentals, ideally in Java or Python; comfort picking up new languages.
• Experience operating distributed systems in production and incident response.
• Track record of taking features from design to production and owning them.
• Solid grasp of relational or NoSQL databases and indexing strategies.
• Excellent design, code, and written communication skills.
• BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.

Aufgaben

• Design, build, and operate services and infrastructure that make up SnapLogic's control plane.
• Take end-to-end ownership from design through production rollout and monitoring.
• Improve platform reliability, performance, and scalability across services and data layer.
• Investigate and resolve production issues and turn fixes into durable improvements.
• Contribute to data-layer work: query tuning, shard operations, capacity planning.
• Collaborate with Platform, SRE, and application teams to maintain zero-downtime SLA.
• Raise the bar on engineering quality through reviews and mentoring.
