Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Principal Engineer to define and scale the platform software that powers our device ecosystem. You will act as a senior technical voice across business lines, driving architecture, security, and delivery for embedded hardware platforms.

You will own roadmap delivery, consolidate baseline technologies, and align cross-functional teams, ensuring secure, scalable deployments across multiple devices and product lines.

Qualifications

• Shipped embedded/edge systems with OS, security posture and app together.
• Deep experience with or passion for Nix and NixOS.
• Ability to say no to product teams with rationale and alternatives.

Responsibilities

• Embed with engineering leads across business lines to understand build and pain points.
• Develop and execute a long-term roadmap for compute platforms used on Anduril devices.
• Drive gap triage to build/assign/decline/defer and ensure accountability.
