Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Principal Engineer to define and scale our platform software across devices. You will act as a senior technical voice for engineers integrating Lattice, flashing boards, and shipping product with security by design.

You’ll lead roadmap work, reclaim orphaned code, and drive ownership models while partnering with Security to ensure devices are secure by default and production-ready with HITL as a product.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience building automated verification suites at scale.
• Deep expertise with NixOS environments and declarative package management.
• Experience with virtualization and containerization technologies is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute a long-term roadmap for compute platforms across devices.
• Define device baseline OS, security components, and service profiles.
• Reclaim unmaintained platform code and standardize libraries.
• Collaborate with Security to ensure devices are secure by default.
• Lead HITL as a product and drive scalable device management.
