Job summary

Worth AI, a leader in the computer software industry, seeks a Senior Engineer to join our Platform team. You will be a force multiplier, removing friction in the development lifecycle and delivering product for engineers across the organization.

You will mentor engineers, own complex refactors, and drive architectural shifts using Nest.js, React.js, TypeScript, Kubernetes, and ArgoCD to accelerate delivery and reliability. This role offers a hybrid, Orlando-focused collaboration model.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering with leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Identify pain points in engineering workflows and prioritize tool/architecture changes.
• Design reusable patterns with Node.js/TypeScript to empower other engineers.
• Address systemic performance issues including PostgreSQL and Kafka optimizations.
• Own Kubernetes and ArgoCD configurations for reliable deployments.
• Lead cross-team refactors of shared libraries to maintainability.
• Mentor engineers to raise technical proficiency and architecture understanding.
• Prototype and roll out internal tools to improve CI/CD and observability.
• Provide documentation and 1:1 support for new frameworks and architectural shifts.
• Lead code reviews and promote maintainable design and testing strategies.
• Communicate complex trade-offs across teams to align perspectives.
