Worth AI, Inc. is seeking a Senior Engineer to join the Platform team to make our engineering organization faster, more reliable, and more joyful through building the Product for the Engineers.

You will mentor engineers, design reusable patterns using Nest.js, React.js, and TypeScript, and own systemic performance improvements. Expect leadership in Kubernetes/ArgoCD and cross-team architectural initiatives, with emphasis on maintainable, testable systems.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering and leadership.
• Mentorship track record and ability to develop engineers' careers.
• Experience in Platform, Infrastructure, or Developer Experience teams.
• Deep Node.js/TypeScript expertise, scalable Nest.js backends and React frontends.
• Hands-on with Kubernetes and ArgoCD for containerized workloads.
• Strong PostgreSQL and Kafka knowledge; architecture refactoring experience.

Responsibilities

• Interview engineering teams to identify pain points and prioritize tooling or architecture.
• Design reusable patterns with Nest.js, React.js, and TypeScript.
• Own performance improvements, including database queries and messaging patterns.
• Manage Kubernetes and ArgoCD configurations for safe, automated deployments.
• Lead cross-team architectural initiatives and refactor complex codebases.
• Mentor engineers and broaden core architectural knowledge.
• Prototype and roll out internal tools to improve CI/CD and observability.
• Provide documentation and coaching for new frameworks and shifts.
