Job summary

Raymond James is seeking an experienced Platform Engineer to design, support, and enhance enterprise development platforms enabling efficient software delivery, automation, security, and scalability. The role is hybrid, requiring in-office presence at least three days a week with focus on GitHub Enterprise, Jenkins, JFrog, Azure DevOps, Jira, and SonarQube.

You will lead upgrades, migrations, and tool consolidations while advancing CI/CD practices, security controls, and developer productivity

Qualifications

5+ years of Platform Engineering, DevOps, SRE, or related experience.
Hands-on experience with enterprise development platforms (GitHub Enterprise, Jenkins, JFrog, Azure DevOps, Jira, SonarQube).
Strong knowledge of Git, CI/CD pipelines, release automation, and IaC tools like Terraform or Ansible.

Responsibilities

Maintain and optimize enterprise development platforms for reliability, security, and scalability.
Design and support CI/CD capabilities to improve delivery efficiency and developer experience.
Lead platform upgrades, migrations, and tool consolidations with minimal disruption.
Drive automation to improve reliability, scalability, and developer productivity.
Collaborate with dev, infra, and security teams on best practices for source control and governance.
Implement secure software delivery practices, including code scanning and dependency management.
Troubleshoot complex issues across platforms and tooling.
Contribute to platform standards and DevOps improvements.
