Job summary

Dark Wolf Solutions in Herndon, VA is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure. You will work within a hybrid team to ensure high availability, security, and scalable platforms across DevSecOps services and mission apps in a Kubernetes environment.

The role requires 8+ years with cloud providers, Terraform IaC, and strong DoD security credentials, with a US citizenship and DoD clearance.

Qualifications

8+ years with AWS, GCP, or Azure at IL6-level platforms.
Experience architecting Kubernetes or Docker platform services for high availability.
Experience integrating cloud services within a Kubernetes cluster.
Terraform IaC for DISA STIG baseline configuration.
DevSecOps tools: GitLab CI, ArgoCD, FluxCD, Helm, Kustomize.
DoD 8570 Baseline Certifications required.

Responsibilities

Deploy and maintain Kubernetes platform services on cloud-native architecture.
Integrate platform with enterprise services to satisfy security requirements.
Implement secure automation, monitoring, and Infrastructure as Code.
Deploy CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments.
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams on latest tech.
Develop and iterate best practices to improve deployment quality and speed.
Apply industry best practices for system hardening and configuration management.
