Job summary

Dark Wolf is seeking a DevOps Engineer to help build and maintain a DevSecOps Platform as a Service (PaaS) for a DoD customer. You will work with Kubernetes-based PaaS solutions, automate deployments, and monitor security and performance.

You will collaborate with cybersecurity and development teams to implement IaC/GitOps, maintain compliance with DoD policies, and support backup/disaster recovery planning. This role requires on-site presence at least 3 days a week with a 2-day remote option.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Linux server administration experience.
• Experience configuring, deploying, maintaining, and securing Kubernetes platforms.
• Experience with CI/CD automation servers (GitLab CI, Jenkins).
• Experience with administration of Linux endpoints (clients).
• Experience with Identity Management services including SSO using OIDC or SAML.
• HS Diploma.
• US Citizenship and an active Secret security clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and maintain critical services supporting on-prem and cloud-native architecture.
• Collaborate with Cybersecurity to implement system hardening and config management best practices.
• Apply IaC and GitOps practices for repeatable provisioning of environments.
• Deploy and maintain Kubernetes platforms across multiple environments and classification levels.
• Work with development teams to provide onboarding support.
• Ensure platform and networks comply with DoD policies.
• Support backup and disaster recovery planning.
