Job summary

Dark Wolf is seeking a Platform Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain our cloud infrastructure and services, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security across Kubernetes on AWS with Terraform. The role supports hybrid work in Falls Church, VA, with on-site presence about 50% of the time.

The ideal candidate will have experience with Kubernetes, AWS, Terraform, and DevSecOps tools, plus DoD cybersecurity requirements, and a US citizenship/secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field, or equivalent experience.
• DoD 8570 baseline certifications (e.g. Security+) required.
• US citizenship and active DoD Secret clearance required.
• 0-4+ years of cloud/Kubernetes experience.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and maintain Kubernetes platform services on cloud-native architecture.
• Integrate Kubernetes with enterprise services to meet security requirements.
• Implement secure automation and Infrastructure as Code.
• Deploy and maintain CI/CD pipelines across environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on new technologies.
• Develop best practices to improve deployment quality and velocity.
• Apply industry best practices for system hardening and configuration management.
