Job summary

Dark Wolf is seeking a DevOps Engineer to build and maintain a DevSecOps Platform as a Service for a DoD customer in a hybrid role based in College Park, MD. The candidate will manage Kubernetes-based PaaS solutions, automate deployments, and monitor security and performance across environments and classification levels.

The role requires 3+ years of Linux administration, Kubernetes expertise, and experience with CI/CD tools, with US citizenship and a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience administering Linux servers (RHEL/Ubuntu).
• Experience configuring, deploying, maintaining, and securing Kubernetes platforms.
• Experience with CI/CD automation servers (e.g., GitLab CI, Jenkins).
• Experience with administration of Linux endpoints (clients).
• Experience with Identity Management services including SSO using OIDC or SAML.
• US Citizenship and an active Secret security clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Deploying and maintaining critical services supporting on-prem and cloud-native architectures.
• Collaborate with Cybersecurity for system hardening and configuration management.
• Apply IaC and GitOps practices for repeatable provisioning of environments.
• Deploy and maintain Kubernetes platforms across multiple environments and classification levels.
• Provide onboarding support to development teams; ensure DoD policy compliance.
• Assist with backup and disaster recovery planning.
