Job summary

Transaction Network Services (TNS) is seeking a senior engineering leader to own and evolve the platforms, infrastructure, and software delivery capabilities behind our network automation strategy. You will oversee Kubernetes-based deployments, cloud architecture, and DevSecOps practices to support an automation ecosystem that spans thousands of devices.

Lead architecture decisions, mentor engineers, and drive reliability, scalability, and security.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive IT engineering with 5+ years in DevOps or platform engineering.
• Experience deploying production apps on Kubernetes.
• Hands-on AWS, Terraform, Helm, Docker, Git, and CI/CD pipeline design.
• Strong AWS experience including IAM, EKS, EC2, VPC, S3, security controls, monitoring.
• Experience implementing DevSecOps practices and security scanning across the software lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Own architecture, deployment, operation, and lifecycle of network automation apps and supporting services.
• Design and operate containerized applications on Kubernetes using Helm, Argo, and Terraform.
• Lead the Nautobot platform stack including Python/Django, Celery, uWSGI/NGINX, PostgreSQL, Redis, Kubernetes, AWS, and GitLab CI/CD.
• Lead platform upgrades, plugin lifecycle management, performance tuning, capacity planning, resiliency, and observability improvements.
• Establish reliable release processes across development, test, and production environments.
