Job summary

Transaction Network Services (TNS) seeks a senior engineering leader to own the platforms, infrastructure, and software delivery behind our network automation strategy.

This role partners with Automation Developers, Network Engineers, Security, and cloud teams to build a scalable, secure, and resilient automation ecosystem You will drive platform engineering on Kubernetes, AWS, GitLab CI/CD, and the Nautobot stack, while guiding upgrades, release management, and DevSecOps practices to ensure

Qualifications

• 10+ years IT engineering experience with 5+ years DevOps or platform engineering.
• Proven Kubernetes production deployments for large-scale services.
• Hands-on AWS, Terraform, Helm, Docker, GitLab, and CI/CD workflow experience.
• Strong AWS experience: IAM, EKS, EC2, VPC, S3, security controls, monitoring.
• Experience operating distributed platforms using Kubernetes, Celery, Redis, and containers.
• Experience implementing DevSecOps practices across the software lifecycle.
• Ability to lead architecture decisions and mentor engineers.

Responsibilities

• Own architecture, deployment, operation, and lifecycle of network automation apps and services.
• Design containerized apps on Kubernetes using Helm, Argo, and Terraform.
• Lead platform upgrades, plugin lifecycle, performance tuning, resiliency, and observability.
• Establish reliable release processes across development, test, and production environments.
• Mentor developers and set engineering standards for platform engineering.
