Cianbro is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to shape the next generation of IT platform services and modernize a cloud-enabled enterprise. You will work across OCI, Azure, AD, and Microsoft 365 to improve reliability, security, and supportability while collaborating with security, identity, and architecture teams.
This hands-on role emphasizes building standards, automation through IaC, and scalable platform lifecycle management across on-prem and cloud migrations, ensuring high availability
Qualifications
- 5+ years in platform engineering, cloud infrastructure, or related enterprise tech roles.
- Experience designing and supporting enterprise platform services across cloud and core infra.
- Experience planning modernization initiatives and migrating to cloud-based platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to evaluate and operationalize new platform technologies with security and reliability in mind.
Responsibilities
- Plan, operate, and improve enterprise platform services (OCI, Azure, AD, Microsoft 365, Citrix, VDI/AVD, Windows Server, storage).
- Support migrations from on-prem to cloud-enabled, SaaS-based services.
- Automate provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management using IaC and CI/CD practices.
- Develop platform baselines, runbooks, dependency maps, and service documentation.
