Job summary

ICF is seeking a Cloud Platform Engineer to deploy, configure, and maintain cloud infrastructure for a federal technology program. You will build multi-cloud landing zones across Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud using infrastructure-as-code and DevSecOps practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 5+ years cloud engineering or platform operations.
• 3+ years deploying/managing cloud landing zones in production (Azure/AWS/GCP).
• 2+ years IaC with Terraform, Bicep, CloudFormation, or equivalent.
• 2+ years supporting federal IT programs (HHS, NIH, FDA) or similar.
• U.S. Citizenship required due to federal contract requirements.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust background investigation.
• Candidate must reside in the US and work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and manage cloud landing zone architectures across Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform using automation and guardrails.
• Implement infrastructure and policy as code using IaC templates, GitHub Actions, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Build and maintain system integrations using APIs, SDKs, secrets management, and logging.
• Deploy and manage Azure Virtual Desktop for remote access scenarios.
• Manage DNS-as-code for agency platforms and services, including certificates.
• Integrate platform logs, alerts, and risk signals into central monitoring tools.
• Perform quarterly reviews of cloud configurations against security baselines and compliance.
• Coordinate with identity, device, and cybersecurity teams for Zero Trust alignment.
• Maintain documentation of cloud architectures, runbooks, and procedures.
• Resolve complex cloud platform issues escalated from operations.
