Job summary

Blackhawk Network is seeking a Sr. Staff Platform Engineer in Pleasanton, CA to design, build, and maintain scalable cloud platform infrastructure, collaborating with software engineers to ensure smooth integration and deployment.

The role implements and manages CI/CD pipelines, develops automation tools, and guides reusable tooling for testing and deployment while enforcing security practices and monitoring performance to ensure high availability.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Computer Information Systems or related field.
5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, Software Engineer, or related occupation.
Experience configuring and automating cloud infrastructure in AWS.
Background check required.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud platform infrastructure.
Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
Develop automation tools to enhance productivity and efficiency.
Guide the design and implementation of reusable tools and processes for testing and deployment.
Monitor and optimize system performance for high availability and reliability.
Develop and enforce security best practices to protect platform integrity and data.
Provide 24x7 on-call support for critical platform issues.
Mentor and coach team members; drive architectural changes.
