Job summary

Techblocks is seeking a Senior DevOps Platform Engineer to design and support scalable cloud-native platforms, CI/CD pipelines, IaC automation, and developer enablement solutions. You will partner with Development, Security, and SRE teams to raise platform reliability and velocity.

Key responsibilities include building Kubernetes environments, implementing GitOps, and ensuring security controls in pipelines, with a focus on enterprise-scale delivery across cloud providers.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or SRE.
• Kubernetes administration and container orchestration expertise.
• Hands-on with Terraform/OpenTofu and IaC.
• Experience designing CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, ArgoCD, or Tekton.
• Strong Linux system administration and scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Knowledge of GitOps and deployment automation.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud-native platform solutions.
• Build and manage Kubernetes environments across dev, staging, and prod.
• Develop reusable IaC modules using Terraform/OpenTofu.
• Implement platform standards, templates, and automation frameworks.
• Improve platform reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency.
• Design and maintain enterprise-grade CI/CD pipelines using various tools.
• Automate deployment, testing, release management, and rollback processes.
• Implement GitOps practices and deployment automation.
• Integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines (DevSecOps).
• Manage cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP) and container workloads.
• Monitor, log, and observe platform health; participate in incident handling.
