Blackhawk Network is seeking a Technology Intern in Pleasanton, CA, to gain hands-on experience building large-scale data processing systems and cloud infrastructure. You will collaborate with software developers and architects to learn modern data platforms and security practices.

The internship offers exposure to stream processing, DevOps, and real-time analytics, with mentorship and opportunities to contribute to high-impact financial transaction systems.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate solid engineering fundamentals with strong algorithms, data structures and coding background.

Responsibilities

• Building stream-processing systems (e.g., Spark-Streaming).
• Building DevOps pipelines and CI/CD for the enterprise.
• Build large-scale transaction processing systems with REST, micro-services, Spark, Lambda processing, Kinesis, Elastic, AWS.
• Data and Analytics platforms applying ML/AI and Big Data techniques.
• Real-time risk/Fraud systems that detect and prevent financial fraud.
• Building secure and scalable cloud infrastructure.
