PEXA Group in the US is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to build and operate the AWS platform behind PEXA Go, ensuring reliability, security and scalability. You will collaborate with Principal and Lead Platform Engineers, software engineers, and product teams to drive platform priorities and improve deployment and operations.

The role involves hands-on AWS engineering, on-call responsibilities, and interaction with Security and Risk teams.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience engineering and operating production workloads on AWS.
• Practical experience using infrastructure as code and automation to deliver platform changes.
• Experience working with containerised applications and Kubernetes, including troubleshooting operational issues.
• Experience setting up or using monitoring, logging and alerting to diagnose production problems.
• Confidence investigating incidents and making safe, well‑documented changes to live services.

Responsabilités

• Building, configuring and maintaining the AWS infrastructure and platform services used by PEXA Go.
• Implementing infrastructure changes through code and automation, delivering repeatable delivery.
• Delivering upgrades, remediation and lifecycle work while identifying dependencies and risks.
• Improving monitoring, logging and alerting so teams can spot issues across the platform.
• Investigating platform incidents and service problems to restore service and prevent recurrence.
• Making safe, documented changes to live services and contributing to incident reviews.
• Applying security controls and engineering standards to infrastructure and platform changes.
• Keeping colleagues informed about progress, risks and technical options.
• Sharing knowledge and advocating practical improvements for the platform.
