CentralReach, LLC is seeking a Principal Platform Engineer to define and advance cloud platform capabilities that enable secure, reliable, and scalable product delivery. You will mentor engineers and raise technical standards across Platform Engineering, Software Engineering, and architecture forums.

Role emphasizes hands-on AWS, Kubernetes, GitOps, ArgoCD, observability, and automation, with a focus on improving developer productivity and customer outcomes. This is a hybrid role with Ft.

Qualifications

• 10+ years building and operating mission-critical platforms.
• Expertise across scalability, reliability, security, observability, and operations.
• Advanced AWS skills across compute, networking, storage, identities, containers, and observability.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD, IaC, Kubernetes, GitOps (ArgoCD) and automation.
• Ability to influence architecture forums and guide platform investments.
• Experience mentoring senior engineers and setting engineering standards.

Responsibilities

• Define the technical vision for secure, resilient cloud platform services.
• Lead modernization of legacy infrastructure and guide developers to service-based deployments.
• Establish platform reliability practices, including SLOs, observability and incident response.
• Raise delivery standards through safer deployments, stronger security controls and data protection.
• Improve developer experience by building tooling and self-service capabilities.
• Mentor engineers and influence architecture across teams.
