Job summary
O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Sr Platform Engineer to manage lifecycle of enterprise virtualization platforms and core infrastructure services, leveraging automation and telemetry to ensure reliability and capacity optimization. The role requires collaboration across IT and engineering teams.

Qualifications
- Must be able to manage enterprise virtualization platforms end-to-end.
- Experience driving platform lifecycle from provisioning to retirement.
- Strong automation and telemetry-driven optimization.
- Ability to analyze telemetry and incidents to improve stability.
Responsibilities
- Monitor virtualization platform lifecycle including clustering, capacity planning, upgrades and integrations.
- Deliver enterprise virtualization platforms and storage environments to meet engineering needs.
- Develop automated provisioning pipelines using IaC and automation frameworks.
- Research telemetry data and logs to identify optimization opportunities and reliability improvements.
- Communicate status and risks to IT stakeholders and drive platform delivery milestones.
