Job summary

Collectors is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to join our Platform Engineering team. You will design and ship internal platforms, CI/CD pipelines, developer environments, deployment workflows, and shared services to accelerate product teams.

You’ll bring a strong generalist background in platform work, deep systems knowledge, and hands-on experience with AI-enabled tooling, cloud infrastructures (AWS), and Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building production software in platform/infrastructure roles.
• Fluent in Python or TypeScript with cloud experience (AWS) and Kubernetes.
• Hands-on with AI-enhanced engineering workflows and tool integration.
• Strong ability to work across backend, automation pipelines, infra, and internal tools.

Responsibilities

• Build the paved path: design, build, and operate internal platforms (CI/CD pipelines, developer environments, deployment workflows, shared services).
• Create automation and self-service tooling to streamline engineering workflows.
• Prototype and productionize AI-assisted capabilities in engineering workflows.
• Own problems end-to-end from discovery to adoption in ambiguous spaces.
• Strengthen core infrastructure: cloud, Kubernetes, infra-as-code, observability.
• Drive adoption with data: define metrics, telemetry, and collaboration with product teams.
• Communicate through design docs and runbooks, collaborating across teams.
