Collectors is seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer to build scalable marketplace experiences across our platform. You will work primarily on backend systems with meaningful frontend ownership, shaping APIs, services, and integrations.

The role emphasizes strong Java/Spring Boot expertise, database modeling, and cloud deployments, with collaboration across Product and Engineering teams. Onsite collaboration is encouraged within a 1-hour commute where possible.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering with backend focus and frontend experience.
• Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot; strong API design skills.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases; data modeling expertise.
• Comfort with modern frontend tech including React/NextJS.
• Experience with containers and cloud deployments (Docker/Kubernetes/AWS).

Responsibilities

• Contribute to backend services, APIs, and data models for customer and ops workflows.
• Develop frontend components to deliver end-to-end product experiences.
• Collaborate with Product and partner teams to design scalable solutions.
• Drive system design, observability, and code quality improvements.
• Leverage AI tooling to accelerate design while maintaining quality.
