Job summary

Appnovation is seeking a Principal Technical Architect to drive the technical strategy and architecture of a critical digital platform. You will lead engineering teams, set architectural standards, and ensure secure, scalable, and reusable solutions at global scale.

You will collaborate with senior stakeholders to align technology with business goals, while advancing AI-enabled delivery and platform reuse to accelerate delivery and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with significant senior engineering and technical leadership in enterprise platforms, cloud or large-scale tech delivery.
• Experience owning the technical strategy and architecture of a significant platform, product, or domain.
• Proven ability to lead and develop engineering teams of engineers, architects, and leads.
• Deep hands-on expertise in modern engineering practices, cloud platforms, data and integration patterns, APIs, security and reliability.
• Experience partnering with senior business and Digital stakeholders to shape technical direction and measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Own the platform's technical strategy and architecture roadmap.
• Act as design authority for target architecture, standards, and integration patterns.
• Lead engineering teams to build and operate the platform with reliability and security in mind.
• Partner with senior leaders to translate business needs into technical solutions and roadmaps.
• Apply AI-enabled delivery and modern engineering practices to improve speed and quality.
