Job summary

Stellarus is seeking a Senior Principal Architect to shape how our platform designs reusable services, integrates vendors, and enables AI-driven development patterns. You will own architecture direction across the payer, provider, pharma, and partner workflows, influencing code, design, and production tradeoffs without direct reports.

As the technical authority for application architecture, you will work closely with engineering teams to ensure scalable, secure, and robust platform services

Qualifications

• 12+ years of software engineering and architecture experience.
• Experience setting architecture direction for enterprise-scale distributed systems.
• Strong hands-on coding and system design discussions.
• Healthcare, payer, pharma or SOC 2/HIPAA domain knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define and enforce enterprise architecture standards across platforms.
• Lead design decisions for reusable microservices and marketplace capabilities.
• Mentor staff and principal engineers.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across security, product, and operations.
