Job summary

Stellarus is seeking a Senior Principal Architect to lead enterprise architecture for its payer, provider, pharma, and partner platform. You will shape reusable services, drive AI-assisted development patterns, and ensure architectural credibility with engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or High School Diploma/GED with 4 years of related experience.
• 12+ years of software engineering, application architecture, or platform engineering experience.
• Experience setting architecture direction for large-scale distributed systems and cloud-native platforms.
• Expert knowledge of microservices, API ecosystems, event-driven architecture, and domain-driven design.
• Strong hands-on engineering background; comfortable discussing code structure, service design, and deployment.
• Experience with cloud environments (Azure preferred; AWS/GCP transferable).
• Experience with vendor integration, marketplace capabilities, and reusable platform services.
• Excellent written communication; able to articulate architecture decisions clearly.

Responsibilities

• Define enterprise-level architecture direction for the Stellarus platform.
• Shape reusable services, vendor integrations, and AI-assisted development patterns.
• Lead technical decision-making across engineering, product, security, and operations.
• Mentor staff and principal-level engineers and architects.
