Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated seeks a DevOps Architect to serve as the singular highest-level technical authority across our DevOps practice. You will set vision, standards, and strategy for infrastructure, platforms, and delivery pipelines across software solutions.

You will own the platform architecture, govern Kubernetes strategy (OpenShift, AKS), GitOps with ArgoCD, and IaC with Terraform. Collaboration with software architects and ADRs will shape end-to-end system designs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required.
• 5+ years in architect-level roles owning platform strategy.
• Mastery of Kubernetes in production environments.
• Expert Terraform skills including module design and governance.
• Deep ArgoCD expertise: multi-cluster management and GitOps workflows.
• Broad Azure platform knowledge: networking, IAM, landing zones, cost management.
• Strong observability background with Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end platform architecture across all software solutions.
• Define platform strategies for Kubernetes, GitOps, and container standards.
• Lead IaC design with Terraform across Azure and OpenShift environments.
• Define SLO/SLI frameworks, incident response, and post-mortem culture.
• Collaborate with software architects; document ADRs and reference architectures.
• Drive cross-functional planning and governance for platform decisions.
