Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking a Senior Manager, PDS BI&T Architecture & Components in New Brunswick, NJ. The role leads end-to-end platform architecture for analytics and digital workers, spanning distributed multi-service systems, orchestration, and shared components.

You will drive frontend/backend design, enable real-time streaming, and establish governance for secure, scalable platform services, including MCP servers powering both web UI and Claude Desktop surfaces.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, AI, Data Science, or a related field.
• 6+ years of software engineering experience with deep full-stack delivery, including production experience building LLM-powered or agentic applications.

Responsibilities

• Architect distributed, multi-service platforms with orchestration across autonomous services and agents.
• Design the platform as an internal SaaS/PaaS with reusable components.
• Build graph-based orchestration workflows combining LLM reasoning and real-time data integration.
• Develop backend APIs, SSE/WebSocket streaming, and secure, scalable services.
• Collaborate with UI/UX and enterprise governance to deliver platform-wide capabilities.
