Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in sales management, preferably within the plastics or manufacturing industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is required.
• Ability to work at the Iowa plant most days.

Responsibilities

• Sales Strategy Development: Create and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market presence.
• Account Management: Maintain and strengthen relationships with key accounts and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Business Development: Identify new business opportunities within the plastics industry and grow existing accounts.
• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team with clear goals and ongoing training.
• Hire and Train: Hire and develop the team to achieve revenue targets.
• Market Analysis: Analyze market trends, competition, and customer needs to inform strategic decisions.
• Reporting and Forecasting: Monitor sales performance and provide regular pipeline and forecast updates.
• Collaboration: Work with production, engineering, quality control, and finance to ensure seamless customer experience.
